About the author

I met Willa Dorsey nearly 20 years ago and I loved her from the first day she sang at during an evangelistic service at our church in Vancouver, Washington. My husband has long been friends with her son, Billy. When I heard she was in a care facility in 2008, I visited her as often as I could before she passed away on January 5, 2009.

Her life and the encouragement she gave made such an impact on my life, I wanted to work together with Billy to share memories of Sister Willa Dorsey on this website.
