I have been listening to Sister Willa sing and play the piano. As she sang and played the piano in Canada (Jesus loves Me (Oui, Jesus M’aime), I could only weep, for the anointing of the Holy Spirit came mightily on me. I wish I had met her in person but the memories of her shared by those who knew and loved her assure me that one day I will meet this wonderful, sweet Saint of Jesus Christ. I know she is now singing around the throne of Jesus Christ and if I were asked to write her epitaph I would write this:
“Here lies the body of Willa Dorsey Peas,
Under the daises and under the trees.
Peas not here, only the pod;
Peas shell out, gone home to God.”
I love to start every day listening to Sister Dorsey singing and praising God!
