have known Willa for many years and cared for her when she was here. I can never forget her, sometimes she was happy in the concerts. But she was here when Martin Luther King died and she was very sad and wished to be in America. Thank you Willa. God bless.

Willa told me she lived next door to Martin Luther King in Atlanta. She was good friends with his mother. After traveling around the world to sing for revivals, presidents and kings, she was delighted to report to Mrs. King that she had seen streets named after her son in nearly every major city she visited. Willa had a love for people that would just shine like the sun.
